And it is so easy for us to see shiny objects that glitter and zoom around and think, “I have to have that.” There have been many times in my own life I have gotten “new car fever,” or I have been consumed with the latest electronic gadgets. It is true money can buy lots and lots of stuff. The only things that matter are the matters of the heart-the eternal matters that involve our souls. We know, of course, no matter what we have owned in this life, or no matter how fat our bank accounts, there is coming that certain day when we will leave it all behind.
